We primarily accept road bikes, gravel/cyclocross bikes, triathlon/time-trial bikes, hybrid bikes, junior/kids bikes and mountain bikes. We also accept some electric bikes equipped with Shimano and Bosch motor and battery.
We prefer to accept bikes from the past 10 years or newer but can make exceptions based on the quality and remaining life of the bike.
Most importantly, the bike must be in good condition and functional. If the bike requires maintenance or repair, we will deduct the cost of the repair, replacement and service from the value of the trade-in.
Note that all the proprietary accessories necessary for the proper functioning of the bike must be included (Electronic battery chargers, seatpost clamps, TT risers and spacers, axles, etc). Receive more on trade-in values for mountain bikes accompanied with a recent proof of suspension maintenance (less than 3 months). E-bikes must be accompanied by a battery and motor diagnosis from a recognized dealer.
Cycling Avenue does not accept the following types of bikes: Department store bicycles, tandems, tricycles, or recumbent bicycles.
