Having spent every summer of my childhood in the Bas-St-Laurent, this region has become my secret paradise for road biking but also for gravel biking! I have explored almost every corner imaginable, especially in the area of Trois-Pistoles, where my second home is located!

In case you haven’t heard of this route, I’m here to help you understand the reality of the trip. Do not be fooled by the ‘butter tart’ name and think it’s all about sweet treats and easy riding. The BT 700 is a serious adventure and not for the faint of heart.
Crowsnest Pass is located southwest of Calgary on the border between Alberta and British Columbia. Last fall we discovered this somewhat unloved mining region of the Rocky Mountains. It's windy, chilly, even a little hostile and wild. But we loved the scenery so much that we decided to go back this year.

This race, which has been part of the World Series since 2003, is known for its brutal climbs, dense jungle and long stages at altitude.
Let's be honest, I was puzzled by his asymmetrical look myself. I didn't understand the purpose of the suspension until I did my research. And more importantly, before I tested it!
