We have partnered with new ambassadors for 2022 and it is finally time to reveal the new crew with a quick interview to discover who they are behind the scenes.
Without waiting any longer, here is:
Krystel Thibault aka Krystoule
What is your job?
Partnership and development advisor at Opération Enfant Soleil
Where are you from and where do you live now?
I am from the North Shore of Montreal and now live on the Island of Montreal.
The cycling discipline you specialize in?
Your dream ride/destination?
I dream of going to Spain and Nova Scotia to do the cabot trail.
Your greatest achievement on two wheels / what you are most proud of
My long rides of more than 200km
The one song you sing the most (out loud or in your head) when you ride?
Waka Waka from Shakira (Lol, not even a joke)
Are you an Introvert or an Extrovert?
Extrovert. What gives me the most energy while cycling is not the gels and bars, it's meeting new people or laughing with my friends.
You find a lottery ticket that ends up winning $10 million. What would you do?
I leave immediately with my bike, 3-4 friends and my parents, and then think about how I'm going to invest all my money. (We always think better on two wheels)
Are you more of a morning person or a night owl?
What were you like in high school?
Secondary 1,2,3 in English, I was rather shy, I did my things quietly
Secondary 4,5 at the French school in my neighbourhood, I was a little bit of a bum I would say, but I got good grades.
How many bikes do you have and which is your favourite/why?
I have four bikes and my favorite is Beyoncé because I think she is so beautiful. I have a deep attachment to it because it was my first and only bike I ever bought new, I chose it and looked forward to it. I have also experienced so many beautiful moments with her.
Complete the sentence: I ride for...
Post ride snack?
Margarita Pizza, and margaritas why not
Your biggest crash/fright?
Slipping on asphalt in a curve in the Eastern Townships. I still have some small rocks in my face. I was off work for several weeks, but no broken bones or anything.
